All of Cherrie's work focuses on life cycles and collections. As a retired museum professional, she loves visiting museums and galleries and is curious about the many stories, objects and memories handed on from one generation to the next. Cherrie is interested in the collection, arrangement and layering of visual moments, shapes, textures and colours.

She sees human beings as vessels, collecting, holding and sharing their contents which are affected by their DNA and influenced by the many experiences encountered throughout life.

Cherrie uses a range of media to make 2D and 3D pieces.
